Every Day You Have a choice: Results or Excuses
It is a reminder that a simple yet powerful choice can help create success.
Throughout my career, which has spanned from live event production to entrepreneurship, this choice has guided me to take action to produce results.
Every day, there are distractions that can turn into a reason why I shouldn’t do something. But I choose to find a way to produce a result rather than having to produce an excuse to myself on why something hasn’t been done.
I remember a time when I was asked to be on a live podcast for new trucking companies. I had a profit calculator for logistics companies I wanted to sell, but I didn’t have a website or landing page.
The problem was I needed to watch my son, he was a baby. Instead of missing the opportunity I built a website while having my son with me. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. During the live podcast I got a lot of sales from the funnel I created with my son in my lap.
The difference in who achieves their goals and those that don’t really boil down to which choice they made.
Excuses might provide temporary comfort, but results deliver lasting satisfaction and progress. Embracing accountability, learning from failures, and persistently pursuing excellence are the hallmarks of those who choose results over excuses.
We make choices every day, but let's remind ourselves of the power we hold in making this one choice.
Let’s chase results with determination and make the challenges along the way our stepping stones for success.
