Learning to do more with less - How My Kids Taught Me To Be “Productive”

Before becoming a parent, my mantra was simple: outwork everyone. If someone put in 8 hours, I'd do 12. It was all about the grind. 💪

But parenthood brought a pivotal shift in my perspective. With two kids, right now 1 and 3, the luxury of 12+ hour workdays vanished. I found myself questioning my value, not just professionally, but as a family man too. 🕒👨‍👧‍👦

It was then I realized a crucial lesson in productivity: the art of focusing and saying no. You can't chase ten different directions and expect to be truly productive. It's about focusing on what truly matters.

Identifying my real goals made it clear what I could turn down, allowing me to concentrate my energy and be more effective. Now, I'm not just a valuable asset to my clients; I'm also there for my family. And isn't that the real success? 🎯👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I've since adopted a dashboard for my ideas and tasks, helping me stay focused on my goals, manage my workload, and avoid overcommitting.

It's about quality, not quantity.

I'd love to hear from you.
